THE OFFICIAL SONG OF THE FLORIDA HURRICANE RELIEF BENEFIT “EVERYTHING’S
GONNA BE ALRIGHT” PERFORMED BY LAIDLAW

 Stuart, Florida. – December 26, 2004 - The Official Florida Hurricane Relief
Concert Benefit being held on Saturday January 1st, 2005 at Treasure Coast
Harley Davidson in Stuart, Florida. The promoters of the event were looking
for a song as the official theme and chose “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright”
by Laidlaw and featuring pedal-steel guitar by Steve Sturm (Travis Tritt
Band). The song is off their second CD released in September 2003 on Yessir
Records. The band is donating some of the proceeds from the sale of the CD
to the Florida Hurricane Relief Benefit.

Other tracks include “Nascar Superstar”, it is a driving, rock anthem for
race fans, featuring background vocals by the 'Redneckettes' (Scorpions
drummer James Kottak, Athena Kottak, Joey Pantera, Buzzy James and Craig
DeFalco). As well as a remake of the Head East classic “Never Been Any
Reason”, with Carol Chase (Lynyrd Skynyrd Honkettes) singing a duet and
Michael Anthony (Van Halen) on background vocals. Plus, the echoing “Ode To
Ronnie” (Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute) to Ronnie Van Zant, with Carol Chase and
Stephanie Rose singing background vocals.

The
self-titled sophomore release announces the comeback of Laidlaw,
incorporating the band's diverse influences. From southern and hard rock to
country and blues, this release featuring Joey Pantera's vocal talents, is
more melodic than their debut CD.
